A slow-burn story about love, friendship, and the strange realisation that you and your oldest friends somehow became adults. Tom and Sophie are getting married, you’re the best man, and twelve years after meeting at university the old gang are still very much together: some married, some still single, some further into settled life, and none quite as grown-up as they imagined they would be. At the centre of it all is the same foul-mouthed, chaotic group chat that has documented years of bad decisions and worse photographs. Then bridesmaid Hailey accidentally sends everyone a message intended for Sophie, revealing in spectacular fashion exactly what she would like to do to you. She deletes it. Everybody saw it. Nobody is willing to let her get away with it. With the wedding approaching, old friendships deepen, new possibilities emerge, and Hailey is never, ever going to hear the end of it.
