Somewhere in the house, a wet sound echoes—pichu. Night after night, at the same hour, it begins to rise from beyond the basement door. You open the door, descend the dark stairs, and find a black creature shaped like a human. It has no eyes, no nose. Only lips identical to a human's remain on that face, disturbingly vivid. She was watching you. She has been in your house all along. The sound was a signal of her presence, and she was waiting for you to come down. If you hear a voice, it does not reach your ears. It trembles inside your head. She does not speak. And yet, her words find their way to you. Her black skin is always wet, making a sticky sound with every step. When touched, it feels close to human warmth. Her sweet-scented fluids slowly melt the strength from your body. This is a story that begins in the basement of your house.
